Dixie Dandelion and the White Doves

After the brutal murder of her mother, sixteen-year-old Dixie Dandelion finds herself alone on a wagon train heading west. Threatened by the ruthless man who killed her mother, Dixie steals a horse from a Pinkerton agent to escape. Her perilous journey to the town of Six Shooter Siding may be her only chance to survive.

At first, Dixie seeks refuge as a cook in a railroad camp. But as she begins to make friends and build a new life for herself, she can't shake off the constant fear of being found by her mother's killer, not to mention the man whose horse she stole. Dixie is torn between trusting the handsome Pinkerton agent, Jackson Wayne, and relying solely on her own strength. As the past catches up with her, Dixie must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival.
